- Program operates under auspices of Westchester County’s Department of Social Services, Mandated Preventive Services
- Goal is to preserve family stability and to prevent recurrent child abuse and/or foster care placement for chronic substance abusing families
- Program serves 60 families annually living in Yonkers, Mount Vernon or New Rochelle
- Home visits at least two times/week and then weekly as needed
- 24-hour availability

Monday - Friday: 9am – 5pm
- A federally-funded program, Building Bridges serves 50 Westchester families annually who have at least one family member in substance abuse treatment and whose child/children are determined to be in need of services.
- Services include: a comprehensive family assessment; crisis intervention/prevention; court/school advocacy/referrals; parenting and life skills training; domestic violence referrals/counseling; safety planning; housing/pantry referrals; skill building and empowering; home management; respite referrals; and recovery coaching
- 24-hour availability
