SERVICES:
- Mothers come to the program every weekday with their children. The mother participates in a chemical dependency treatment program; while the children are cared for in our on-site nursery. Mothers and children eat lunch together in a family-style dining room, and mothers attend daily parenting classes.
- The treatment offered is holistic in nature. Counseling services include individual sessions with a primary counselor, group sessions, conjoint sessions with family members and/or significant others if needed. Additional services include parenting classes, home management workshops, case management, transportation to and from the program as well as to important appointments during the day, and vocational/educational counseling.
- Our on-site nursery is separated from the treatment space and is staffed by a registered nurse and several parent aides. Infants are assessed for developmental milestone achievements and appropriate referrals are made if services are needed.
